The infamous Freddy Kreuger is back in the new A Nightmare on Elm Street. It is directed by Samuel Bayer and meant to be a remake of the 1984 original. This is where i become skeptical. Samuel Bayer is not a director for films. He has directed many music videos for popular artists such as My Chemical Romance and The Offspring but i've never heard of an important film made by him. However the screenshots released seem to be pretty good
These pictures suggest that the movie will be high quality and that it will be a success however the cast is entirely British and not quite A-listers. The only well known actor in this movie is Jackie Earle Haley who was Rorschach in Watchmen. What do you guys think of this?? Will it live up to the expectations of the series. Or are the Freddy movies just getting old
