At World's End is the third installment of the hit Pirates of the Caribbean franchise from Disnep with Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley returning as Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann.

Plot of Pirates of the Caribbean : At World's End

The powerful East India Company has taken an aggressive stance with the sole purpose of driving the pirates of all the sea to extinction and their huge Armada led by the legendary Flying Dutchman with Davy Jones at her helm is nearly invincible. Only a miracle can save the pirates from the long arm of the British law and luckily for them Captain Barbossa has an idea about how to bring about such a miracle-- release the evil Goddess Calypso from her human form so that her wrath may consume Davy Jones and the Flying Dutchman for it was he who had imprisoned Calypso in a human body. And the only way to release Calypso is to bring together the Nine Pieces Eight each of which is held by a pirate lord. While eight of them are still amongst the living the ninth is held by the Late Captain Jack Sparrow.

So, Barbossa, Turner and Elizabeth must first undertake a perilous journey to bring back Jack from the land of the dead.

But the pirates are also aware of her erratic and destructive nature of Calypso and not all the pirate lords can concur with Barbossa that

restoring her powers is the way to go. But the one things the pirates can trust even less than the Goddess Calypso are one another. As the pirates are weakened by betrayal after betrayal they are finally left with no other choice to free Calypso. And then, they can only hope for the best...

Review of Pirates of the Caribbean : At World's End
In my opinion, the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is one of the best active franchises in Hollywood today and Pirates of the Caribbean : At World's End more than delivers on its promise.

Unlike the Transformer series (to name just one), each of the movies in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise are of comparable quality and the thing I particularly like about the franchise is that it adopts a continuous story boarding pattern so that each movie smoothly rolls on to the next, for example, At World's End ends with the promise of another adventure in search the Fountain of Youth which depicted in Pirates of the Caribbean : On Stranger Tides

As we have come to expect from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise over the past several years, At World's End showcases brilliant technical skills to create an incredible visual experience and is ably supported by a good cast, captivating background scores and a marginally above average plot. But, the thing that really sets the Pirates of the Caribbean movies in general and At World's End in particular and keeps you glued to your screen is the mesmerizing acting of Johnny Depp as the tough, funny and utterly unpredictable Captain Jack Sparrow.
